Your eyes are the only media you have to see whatever you want to see. They assist in 80 percent of your senses since almost every activity you do requires your vision. Without them, it is impossible for you to see the radiant sunny morning, the beautiful spring and the heavenly blue ocean. You must do your share in the proper care of your eye so you won’t loose your vision. Eye care is a simple task but very important. The inability to take care of them can lead to eye disorders and possible vision loss.
Most young people fail to appreciate the importance of their eyes. You may even remember a time you hit the beach without wearing sunglasses. You might even find foods rich in vitamin C a bit disgusting without knowing that these foods can help enhance your vision and prevent eye problems. Everything about your eyes may seem normal while you are young, but it is granted. For example, you might grow vision problems as you age. Aging can influence your eyes condition. As you grow older, the pupil of your eyes is getting smaller resulting to blurry eyesight. Those who were a bit careless can even have early eyesight problems, such as cataracts, and macular degeneration. Here are some tips you may consider.
-Make sure you eat fruits and vegetables which contain Vitamin A, E, C, and other substance such as iron and zinc that are good for your eyes.

-Keep doing regular exercises. Routine exercises can make your body fit and can help improve your blood circulation and oxygen that is needed for eyes performance.

-Never strain your eyes. When reading, make certain that you read at a suitable distance. Best distance of your eyes from what you read is at least 30 cm. Observe adequate lighting as well. Don't force your eyes reading in the dark as this will lessen your eyesight.

-Avoid rubbing your eyes. In any case your eyes become itchy, never rub them. Just blink your eyelids. This can cause your eyes to tear. Tears are natural fluids to cleanse your eyes from any foreign particles and irritants.
-Wear protective sunglasses with 98% or higher UV ray shields. Your eyes can get irritated at direct sunlight. You may opt for contact lenses, but it is still best to wear a pair of sunglasses over it.
